The drive for perfection became a shadow over my accomplishments, often leading to unnecessary procrastination and self-doubt.<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on a particular memory at 12, when the pride in my self-sewn board shorts was met with criticism rather than celebration, I realized the profound impact those moments had. The quest for my mother&#8217;s approval morphed into a fear of imperfection that trailed into my adult life and professional endeavors.<\/p>\n<p>Embracing my role at Dare To Be You, I encountered a pivotal realization.
