People come into our lives to teach us lessons and to make us stronger.
Yes, some people are in our lives for shorter periods of time than others.
Yes, some people are mere acquaintances and not a part of our inner circle of trusted friends but they still come into our lives for a reason.
What I learnt over the past 2.5 years of people coming and going from y life is that I need to be more confident in myself and who I am.
I need to completely squash the limiting beliefs behind the excuses I was putting out there.
I needed to become more stronger and secure within myself. The first part of this was overcoming past hurts finding the courage to get started on writing my book again. This time from scratch!
When getting companies and professional editors, designers and publisher to help me with my book to look for the signs of when things aren’t right while working with them so that I can question/push back on them. So, that I can see when they were not delivering the quality of service they were meant to.
They may be triggered by something in your book or something you said and so they start to put meanings into your words which simply weren’t written or even implied, as they have past issues that they are bringing into the work you have hired them to do.
When doing the work for you they should be non-bias and non-judgemental and not try to force their views onto you when they go against what you stand for and are untruths.
This is so that, if need be, I do not get too far down the road with them when they are not the right fit for the work. So, that it doesn’t waist too much time due to arguing with them to move the work to someone far more professional in doing that sort of work.
Delays are bound to happen when working on projects like a book as there are a multitude of things that may go wrong if you don’t have the right people on board to work on the project with you.
Don’t be too hard on yourself when and if there are delays as you can’t control the things that are external to you.
Do not take everyone’s referrals seriously as they may be getting kickbacks (referrers fees). Before using that business or service you were referred to, thoroughly research them.
When someone refers you to a service or business no matter how good they tell you this business or service is, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they have used their services or bought their products before.
People will at times use you to get what they want out of you. sometimes it is better to stay guarded.
You can think you know someone really well as you have known them for many years and find out latter one that you didn’t really know them that well at all because something happens and you have catch them in a lie and or pretending to be someone they are not around you and others.
